Music education is an integral part of a student’s social, emotional and intellectual growth.
Our music program here at Foundations strives to give all students the opportunity to develop their self-confidence.
It is important for students to be exposed to music so that they can experience and communicate their feelings and to understand how music affects their lives.
As a music student, choral conductor and music teacher, I know the benefits of music education in my own life. I have an appreciative sense of how music education has affected my growth as a person, and how the discipline has taught me the value of perseverance.
The sense of accomplishment after culminating hours of effort and practice is immeasurable!
I am truly looking forward to working with your child:
• to respond to the mood of music through movement and dance
• to develop their singing voice vocally or
• to guide them through the process of producing music on instruments
