Twenty-five years ago the founder of Foundations Private School asked that very question. The answer was to provide students with a unique educational experience where academic curriculum, although important, is only one aspect of the total learning experience. What makes Foundations special? The school has an Adlerian philosophy which places an emphasis on the basic motivational factor in human learning...encouragement.
